MONDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER
Public holiday – observing Human Rights Day of 24 September
TUESDAY, 26 SEPTEMBER
09:00 The Standing Committee on Health and Wellness will meet at the White City multi-purpose Centre in Saldanha to conduct public hearings on the National Health Insurance Bill [B11- 2019].
13:00 The Standing Committee on Education will meet at the Metro North Education District Office in Parow to be briefed by the WCED Metro North Education District on the procurement of food iro National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP).
WEDNESDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER
09:00 The Standing Committee on Health and Wellness will meet at the Sports Hall in Vredendal to conduct public hearings on the National Health Insurance Bill [B11- 2019].
14:00 The Ad Hoc Committee on Energy Crisis will engage virtually with the Department on Local Government on the funding allocated to the Central Karoo District Municipality and its local municipalities, the total allocation of funds awarded to each municipality, and the extent of consultations with each municipality in terms of the allocation required, a list of requests from municipalities for rollovers of grants for the 2022/23 allocation for emergency energy funds grant, the reason for the request for rollover and the status of these requests and the formula of allocation and the basis for each allocation to each municipality to address the energy crisis, including any financial or market studies done on the costs for generators and any other provisions related to municipalities energy needs.
The committee will further engage with the Garden Route District Municipality, Kannaland Municipality, Hessequa Municipality, Mossel Bay Municipality, George Municipality, Oudtshoorn Municipality, Bitou Municipality and Knysna Municipality on projected plans for the 2023/24 energy infrastructure allocations including the emergency funding allocated to assist municipalities.

FRIDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER
09:00 The Standing Committee on Health and Wellness will meet at the Thusong Center, Mbekweni in Paarl to conduct public hearings on the National Health Insurance Bill [B11- 2019].
09:00 The Standing Committee on Infrastructure will be briefed in-person by the Department of Infrastructure on the Masakh iSizwe Bursary Programme. The Committee will further be briefed by the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHRBC) on its training, skills development and awareness programmes, as well as providing the distinctions between the past and the present prescripts of the Housing Consumer Protection Bill.
