09:00 The Standing Committee on Infrastructure will meet virtually to be briefed on the status of the finalisation of the issues raised in the petition on the Greenhaven Flats by the Mossel Bay Municipality. This will be followed by a briefing by the Department of Infrastructure on the damaged infrastructure resulting from adverse weather conditions in the Garden Route and Central Karoo. The Department of Infrastructure, with the Swellendam Municipality, will also brief the committee on the condition and structural integrity of rural bridge infrastructure across the Western Cape, with specific reference to Suurbraak bridges.
