09:00 The Standing Committee on Social Development will meet in the Chamber to be briefed by the Department of Social Development on the foster care programme, including the backlog of foster care cases and the challenge of child-headed families in the province.

13:00 The Standing Committee on Education will meet in Committee Room 2 to be briefed by the Western Cape Education Department, the Safe Schools Provincial Joints sub-committee, which includes representatives of the WCED, Social Development, and Community Safety, on the mandate, scope of work, and its role in addressing school safety and broader socio-economic challenges. The Safety and security of learners, including discipline, given recent incidents at schools.

13:00 The Standing Committee on Agriculture, Economic Development and Tourism will meet virtually (MS Teams) to be briefed by the Department of Agriculture and Casidra on its Quarterly Performance for the period April to June 2025 (Quarter 1 of 2025/26). The Committee will also be briefed by the Department of Agriculture on the deal budget required to fulfil its mandate with specific reference to the implications of the budgetary shortfall or deficit, and any additional funding currently being sourced.

13:30 The Standing Committee on the Premier and Constitutional Matters will go on an oversight visit to Kromme Rhee Farm, R44, Stellenbosch to do oversight of the Provincial Training Institute.
18:00 The Standing Committee on Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning will have a public hearing in Stellenbosch at the Van der Stel Hall, Van der Stel Sports Grounds, on the Western Cape Land Use Planning Amendment Bill [B3-2025].
