09:00 The Standing Committee on Social Development will conduct an oversight visit to the Horizon Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC) in Eersterivier.
13:00 The Standing Committee on Education will meet in Committee Room 2 to be briefed by the Western Cape School Evaluation Authority (SEA) on their programmes.

WEDNESDAY, 7 MAY
09:00 The Public Accounts Committee will meet to engage with the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness on its 5-year equipment and infrastructure plan for the Western Cape; including the total estimated costs and any risks which could be anticipated in the execution of such a plan. Furthermore, the Department will engage the committee on any security plans it has conceptualised in terms of either privatising or self-employing security services in order to minimise the expenditure on safety and security.

13:00 The Standing Committee on Agriculture, Economic Development and Tourism and the Standing Committee on Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning will have a joint virtual meeting (MS Teams) to be briefed by the Department of Agriculture on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Western Cape Department of Agriculture and the California Department of Food and Agriculture and also by the Department of Local Government and CapeNature on the management of fire seasons.
