Opening and welcome by co-ordinating Chairperson Ms Maseko

1. Visit to Floraland Pty Ltd to receive a briefing by Floraland on the process of manufacturing dried flowers (fynbos), from harvesting flowers from local farms to exporting and to tour the plant.

2. Briefing by the Department of Economic Development and Tourism on the:

1. Work and Skills Programme implemented by Floraland Pty Ltd (learners gain skills in the hospitality and tourism industry); and
2. Learner development progress of the 38 learners placed with Floraland on 8 April 2015.

3. Briefing by Floraland and the Department of Economic Development and Tourism on the economic benefits of the business to the surrounding communities.

4. Tour of Floraland
