The second sitting of the Western Cape Youth Parliament will take place under the theme: Youth Unemployment in the Western Cape: Causes and Remedies, at 10:00 on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, via the Microsoft Teams platform.

The sitting will be attended by WCYP Members for the 2026/27 term, representing Junior Town Councils (JTCs), Youth Councils, and Representative Councils of Learners (RCLs) from all municipal districts in the Western Cape.

This annual programme provides young people with a platform to raise matters of importance to them with the WCPP, ensuring that their views and concerns are considered in the work of the WCPP. Members will also have an opportunity to hear first-hand perspectives from youth delegates on the topic.
