Answer Body:
- The Getting YOU to Work programme is set to launch on 8 May 2026 in George on the GO GEORGE bus service.
- The Garden Route District has an unemployment rate of approximately 19.9% according to the 2023 Socio-Economic Profile: Garden Route.
- We aim to improve access to economic opportunities for all active jobseekers who are able to travel during the off-peak period within the constraints of the budget of R1 818 750, which includes once-off establishment costs.
