With regard to drug houses operating in the province:
(a) How many houses have been shut down with the assistance of law enforcement since January 2026 and (b) how many people have been arrested in connection with operating these drug houses?
Answer Body:
(a) SAPS systems do not record involvement of LEAP officers in operations; however, 304 drug outlets have been closed since January 2026.
(b) 19 813 arrests were affected, comprising 1 001 arrests for dealing in drugs and
18 812 for possession.
