- (a) What was the final appropriation to the SAPS Crime Intelligence in the province for the 2024/25 financial year and (b) what amount of this budget was actually spent in the province;
- (a) how many crime intelligence officers are currently deployed in the province, (b) how are they distributed across the province and (c) what portion of the Crime Intelligence budget supports field operations versus administrative costs;
- (a) how many intelligence-driven operations have been conducted in the province during the 2024/25 financial year, (b) what portion of the budget was used for these operations and (c) what has been the success rate of these operations;
- what systems are in place to track expenditure and performance in the Crime Intelligence budget to ensure alignment with national and provincial crime reduction priorities?

(1)-(4) Please note that the Western Cape is not able to respond to Question 17, as it relates to the Division: Crime Intelligence, which is a national component and therefore falls outside the oversight of the province.
