- what is the current number of functional vehicles for use by (a) police and (b) metropolitan police officers in the province?
(1) (a)(i) The South African Police Service cannot disclose the actual numbers of members deployed operationally at provincial, district and particularly at station levels. The personnel totals will be reflected as a percentage, namely actual as a percentage of granted. Therefore, the current percentage in the Western Cape is 93.37%.
