How much money has his Department spent individually on the (i) Apex High
School, (ii) Apex Primary School, (iii) Jakes Gerwel Technical High School and (iv)
Zwelethemba High School from 2020 to date?
My Department has informed me of the following:
Total costs of all transfer payments and Norms and Standards funding per school
from 2020 to date (including personnel cost):
(i) Apex High School = R137.686 million
(ii) Apex Primary School = R99.795 million
(iii) Jakes Gerwel Technical High School = R184.991 million
(iv) Zwelethemba High School = R 93.587 million
Funding will vary according to the size of school, number of learners and educators,
and other specific needs. Funding can include, for example, cost of employees,
transportation, norms and standards, additional mobile classroom installation or
energy and electricity installation.
