  1. (a) What was the final appropriation to the SAPS Western Cape Visible Policing for the 2024/25 financial year and (b) what amount of this budget was actually spent in the province;
  2. (a) how many frontline visible policing vehicles in the province are currently (i) operational and (ii) out of service and (b) what is the budgeted allocation for the maintenance and replacement of such vehicles;
  3. (a) what is the current ratio of visible-policing officers to the population in the province for each precinct and (b) how does this compare to the national norm used by the SAPS;
  4. (a) how much of the visible policing budget has been allocated to community-based programmes, such as (i) neighbourhood patrols and (ii) community policing forums in gang-hotspot areas of the province, and (b) what has been the outcome of those allocations;
  5. (a) how much has been spent on training and the professional development of visible-policing officers in the province and (b) how does this compare with the planned budget?
