With reference to the performance of provincial departments and entities:
- How has each provincial department and entity performed in respect of its set annual performance targets for the financial year (a) 2019/20, (b) 2020/21, (c) 2021/22, (d) 2022/23, (e) 2023/24, (f) 2024/25 and (g) 2025/26 to date, specifically indicating the (i) performance indicators that were set, (ii) number of indicators achieved, (iii) number of indicators not achieved, (vi) effect of underperformance on service delivery and (v) impact thereof on households in the province;
- (a) what were the performance indicators that were set in alignment with national government priorities for each provincial department and entity in the same period as in (1) above and (b) how did the Province perform in achieving those indicators?
- The information requested is found in Part B (Performance information) of all departments and entities’ Annual Reports for the financial years (a) 2019/20, (b) 2020/21, (c) 2021/22, (d) 2022/23, (e) 2023/24, (f) 2024/25. The 2025/26 financial year is underway. The Department of the Premier has submitted Part B of the Departments and entities’ Annual Reports to the Office of the Speaker for the financial years requested above. The documents are available for the Member to peruse. The contents of Part B in Departments and entities’ Annual Reports address parts (i) to (v) of part (1).
