Whether there is any suitable agricultural land that is owned by the Western Cape Gov-ernment that is currently not in use; if so, why is such land not made available through lease to emerging black farmers or previously disadvantaged groups who have an interest in farming?
Answer Body:
Following consultation with the Department of Infrastructure, it has been confirmed that the Western Cape Government does not have any surplus agricultural land that is not in use.
