Whether a new principal has been appointed for the Zwaanswyk High School; if not, why not; if so, when will he or she commence duty?
Answer Body:
The post was advertised and the relevant recruitment and selection processes were followed by the School Governing Body (SGB).
It is expected that the SGB will be submitting their documentation and their final recommendations for the post within the next week. Once all documentation is verified and confirmed, a submission containing the recommendations for appointment will be sent to the Head of Department for consideration.
The department is hopeful that an appointment will be made by the fourth school term.
