(a) How much did she claim for (i) transport and (ii) accommodation for duties performed during the 2024/25 financial year?
Answer Body:
As per circulars by the National Treasury and Provincial Treasury instructions relating to Travel and Subsistence, employees that are required to undertake official journeys as part of his/her official duties or to execute a specific task may claim for meals and transport expenses that are incurred.
For the 2024/25 financial year, Minister Wenger claimed the following expenses in respect of (i) and (ii):
