Whether there are any plans to replace the prefabricated classrooms with brick-and-mortar classrooms at the Solomon Qatyana Primary School in Strand; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
My department has informed me of the following:
The department has met with the school and community members to hear their concerns.
The department will schedule a site visit to the school to perform a full assessment of the safety and condition of the buildings.
Replacement is not planned for the school due to budgetary constraints. The replacement programme is evaluated as budget becomes available.
