(a) The latest projection for table grapes in 2025 is ±78 million 4.5 kg equivalent cartons. Wine grapes are projected to produce an estimated 1.1 million tons in 2025, which is equivalent to 924.5 million gross litres of wine.
- The expected quantities of table grapes for exports are estimated at ±73.3 million 4.5 kg equivalent cartons. The estimated total litres of wine to be exported are 300 million, 179.1 million litres of bulked wine, and 120.8 million litres of packaged wine.
- The anticipated value for the estimated table grape exports is R10 billion. The wine industry will generate an anticipated value of R10.4 billion for estimated exports.
