- (a) Which officers were on duty at the Ladismith police station on 6 January 2014, (b) what are the reasons that these officers allowed two suspects in case CAS105/4/2014 Ladismith, who had no identification documentation, to leave the station;
- whether the two Lesotho nationals have been traced in Lesotho; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?

2. The South African Police Service informed me as follows:
1. (a) The two officers on duty at Ladismith SAPS on 2014.01.06 were Captain HJ Edwardes and Captain LF Linde.
(b) The accused in Ladismith CAS 105/04/2014 – Drunkenness, is a South African citizen.
