Yes, a new Mossel Bay Hospital is being planned, which will replace the current Mossel Bay Hospital.
(a)The replacement facility will be erected on a portion of Erf19201, which is located in Louis Fourie Road, Mossel Bay.
(b) (i) Transport and Public Works has confirmed that site acquisition is currently underway.
(ii) R8,892,000
(c) This is dependent on the availability of funding.
- Estimated total number of beds is 150.
- Comprehensive district health services, comprising:
- General surgery;
- General medicine;
- Paediatrics;
- Obstetrics and gynaecology;
- Emergency Medicine;
- Radiology; and
- Anaesthetics
