These transactions clarified certain legal positions relative to the Board authority and mandate. It identified a procedure which needs to be followed for success. It identified amendments for the Act and Regulations.

Legal counsel was sought for some of the matters

The gambling board reviewed the opinions received from our legal services, CEO, attorneys and advocates (where counsel was consulted). The Board based its decisions on the opinions received from these legal experts and board deliberations.
