What is the state of the infrastructure of each public health facility in the province?
The Western Cape Government Health publishes the User Asset Management Plan (U-AMP) annually which is the primary strategic document utilized by the department with respect to health infrastructure planning. The U-AMP can be assessed at https://www.westerncape.gov.za/general-publication/user-asset-management-plan
Assessments were done to determine the status of all buildings. The assessment focuses on the performance standard, condition rating, accessibility, suitability index, operating performance and functional performance.
Clarification of ratings are clarified in Tables 22 – 30 (Pages 136 – 141) of the U-AMP while the list of state-owned facilities with applicable ratings are accessible in Templates 3.1.1& 4.1.1 of the U-AMP.
