Through the use of the SITA portal, the Centralised Services Desk (Kuilsriver) of the Department of the Premier (DotP), an update can be queried as to the “as at” status. For example, on 29 January 2021, eighty-four (84) schools were reported as “down” (i.e. 6.5%). The cited average is 4-6%. It this varies from school to school and from day to day.
