The right of Members to put questions to Ministers is an important part of ensuring the executive authority’s accountability to the Provincial Parliament. Questions may be put to Ministers related to their spheres of responsibility. Replies to questions are either given orally in the House or in writing. The Norms and Standards for Shelters for Homeless Adults of April 2015 recommends that a Personal Development Plan must be compiled for each resident and it must be documented by the shelter manager, supervisor or social worker to ensure the personal growth and development of residents. Each resident must be provided with an exit strategy as part of the Personal Development Plan.

  1. (a) What is the number of personal development plans developed since January 2020 and (b) how many people have (i) successfully exited the programme and (ii) been reintegrated into the community;
