09:10 – 12:30     Briefing by the Department of Humans Settlements on:

    • The Langeberg human settlements allocations for the past five years including the allocation for the 2021/22 financial year
    • The housing projects implemented for the various towns that fall under the Municipality, with specific reference to:
  1. The last housing project that was constructed by the Municipality
  2. The mixed housing typologies for each of the projects
  3. The geographical locations of the projects
  4. The projects in the pipeline


    •        Briefing by the Langeberg Municipality on:

        The current status of the Housing Demand Database for the various towns that fall under the Municipality, including details              of the Housing Demand Database in terms of how  the Housing Demand Database is updated according to the beneficiary                  needs

  •         The challenges experienced since the inception of the housing projects
  •        The housing business plans/projects in the pipeline including the geographical locations of those projects


12:30 – 13:00     Question and answer session

13:00 - 14:00      Lunch


14:00 – 14:30     Return to the Legislature Building, 7 Wale Street, Cape Town
